TIAS Alumni invited to Portuguese evening | Amsterdam

26 Oct 2017

We are pleased to invite alumni of TIAS business school to join us for a networking event in Amsterdam with a Portuguese flavour. If you still have some "saudades" from your study trip to Portugal and if you would like to meet your fellow students, then don't hesitate to join us.

In total we have 50 places reserved for alumni and staff from TIAS. In addition, the Chamber will invite its members in both the Netherlands and Portugal to also participate.

The afternoon will consist of two parts, whereby we suspect that only the latter is interesting for TIAS Alumni, but have a look and judge for yourself:

PART 1: for investors

The afternoon will start for a select public at 16:00 with presentations of Portuguese companies interested in exporting or attracting investors. We are honoured to count on the presence of Ambassador Mrs. Rosa Batoréu, who will open the session. Governmental organisation Baía do Tejo will explain to potential investors the opportunities that exist on the South bank of Lisbon. Not only vast and ambitious real estate opportunities are available in Almada, the Water City, but also industrial opportunities can be found in the region of Barreiro, Seixal and Almada, where outsourcing can take place for the metalmecanic industry among other. Have a look at this short introduction video here. Should you represent a company that might be interested in knowing more about the opportunities, please let us know by email:

PART 2: for TIAS alumni and members/friends of the Chamber

The networking event will be open to all those interested and will start as from 17:30-20:00. You will encounter entrepreneurs and other people with a business interest in both countries (and of course your fellow students !). Come and taste some nice Portuguese food and drinks!
