Web Summit Chill out | Palacete Gomes Freire - Lisbon

For visitors of the Web Summit 2016 several international Chambers of Commerce (Aerlis, Brazilian, British, Chinese, Colombia, Dutch, French, German, Japanese, Spanish and Swiss Chamber and young entrepreneurs of ANJE and German Chamber), joined hands and decided to organize a networking event you are sure going to remember. The event will be held in a beautiful Palacete in the heart of Lisbon: Palacete Gomes Freire. The Palacete ensures an event with an intimate character and a great opportunity to meet interesting people that may help to grow your business.

INTERACTIVE BREAKOUT SESSIONS WITH START-UPS

The evening will not only be composed of networking, but we will also have interactive and dynamic break-out sessions with start-up companies. Incubator "Fábrica de Startups" (Start Up Factory) will support these sessions. Participants of the event can pre-subscribe to these sessions and will receive an invitation with profiles of the start-ups and themes of debate in advance. Have a look at the participating start-ups here. Each of the sessions (consisting of 12 to 16 people, including a moderator and a representative of the start-up company) will take around 20 minutes and after a short round of introductions, the start-up company will present 1 to 2 challenges the company faces for the participants to debate. Idea is to support the start-up with the experience, knowledge and contacts people around the table have. We are sure this will not only benefit the start-ups and contributes to your own company by making useful contacts.

PORTUGUESE UNCONFERENCE
In the Terreiro do Paço room we count on our supporting entity Estrela Borough, that within the spirit of the Web Summit Chill Out, will organize the first Portuguese Unconference focused on the public sector. The guests will be able to tackle problems and foster new ideas in areas such as: Citizen Engagement, Gamefication: What is playable in your city ?, IoT Sensors.

NETWORKING

During the evening we will also have music, canapés and drinks in a great atmosphere for you to meet people from different nationalities. The event will be held from 19:00 - 22:00, so this will give visitors enough time to continue the party and explore Lisbon by night afterwards.

Non Members:
Normal fee: 100€ (+VAT if applicable) per person
