The Portucel Group reinforces its presence in Mozambique, through the enlargement of its eucalyptus plantation in 182 886 ha, in Manica Province. Portucel's partnership with Mozambique has started with an agreement in 2008, in which they were granted the right to use a 173 327 ha area in Zambézia Province. Currently, Portucel detains 360 000 ha for eucalyptus plantations and for agricultural use by the local population.
