Energy trade mission to Portugal

From October 7th till 10th the Dutch-Portuguese Chamber of Commerce organized the second energy trade mission. Whereas last year, a group of Portuguese entrepreneurs and decision makers visited the Netherlands in search of new solutions for the alternative energy sector, this year 16 Dutch companies active in the field came to Portugal to talk to possible future partners, share good practices and explore the market during a total of 160 scheduled meetings.
As part of this mission, a special seminar on Renewable Energy/Eenergy Efficiency was organized by the Dutch Portuguese Chamber of Commerce during the EuroSun 2008 conference in Lisbon. Ten of the Dutch delegates presented their products and services, while Nuno Ribeiro da Silva (President of SPES and CEO of Endesa) gave an overview of the Portuguese Energy Market and Alexandre Fernandes (Director of Adene) presented the objectives of Portuguese Energy Renewables and Efficiency for 2015.
91 Portuguese companies opened their doors for the Dutch delegates or took the trouble to come from far to meet them. The mission was supported by the following organizations: EVD (Internationalization Agency of the Dutch Ministry of Economic Affairs) who made this mission financially possible; the Dutch Embassy that organized a special reception for the delegates and hosted the seminar and our partner in the Netherlands: the Chamber of Commerce of the Northern Netherlands. Furthermore we could count on the support of Adene, SenterNovem, MKB Nederland, the Dutch Metaalunie and SPES.
