Impact Circle Kickoff: Unlocking Land’s Potential for Sustainability and Circularity

Last year, the CCPH Impact Circle was launched as a deep dive into “Impact.” Together, we explored how impact goes beyond surface-level actions like driving an electric car or reusing plastic bags. It’s about embedding sustainability into the very core of your business: from your legal structures to product design, and rethinking how you operate and collaborate.

This year, we’re thrilled to return to the topic! Alexander and Wouter are organising a new series of the Impact Circle, focusing on a critical yet often overlooked aspect: the role of land in impact and circularity.

Why Land? Today, land is frequently a casualty of business-as-usual practices, contributing to social and environmental challenges. But there’s another side to this story: land also holds incredible potential. With sustainable and responsible business practices, land can become a force for positive change, helping us address the very challenges it once exacerbated.

Kicking Off January 21st We’re thrilled to begin this series with a session where:

  • Alexander and Wouter will provide a broad overview of this year’s theme.
  • Alexander will also share insights about his exciting new startup, LandOS, which is tackling this topic head-on.

Whether for your business, or just curious about how land connects to impact, this session will be an inspiring start to the year.

Join Us!
Let’s rethink the way we run our businesses to make a positive impact —together.

More information on our Impact Circle

In the second half of 2023, we started with our Impact Circle for members that have an interest in or focus on Sustainable Development in the broadest sense of the word, or those who want to know more about it. This Circle follows in the footsteps of the Digital Circle that was established in 2022 and has been running successfully ever since.

The activities are regular Teams meeting and every now and then an on-site meeting in Portugal or the Netherlands. The goal of this Impact Circle is to provide for a platform to promote business opportunities with a sustainable and innovative character.

We will invite different speakers and after every meeting there will be time for networking and connecting on a personal level. We hope the Impact Circle will inspire its participants and enhance their network. The meetings are open for every (aspirant) CCPH member to join. Should you be interested in getting invitations, or do you know somebody within your organization who might be interested, then please sign up for the Impact Circle via office@ccph.pt.  We are super excited to start this initiative and hope to meet you soon in one of our sessions.

We are proud to announce that The Impact Circle will be run by two of our members:

Wouter Heijnen | Innovation advisor/ founder Circular Hub Algarve
