The Netherlands is the world's number two exporter of food as measured by value, despite of being such a small country! More than half of the Dutch land area is used for agriculture and horticulture with extraordinary greenhouse complexes. These climate-controlled farms enable the Netherlands to be a global leader in the exports of tomato, potatoes, onions and vegetable seeds. Atlantic Growers Portugal is using state-of- the-art Dutch technology and an innovative leadership style to grow sweet snack peppers Vitapep and Piccolo tomatoes in Portugal, hereby becoming one of the best quality suppliers in the country.

On the 11th of October, an interactive program is organized at our associate Atlantic Growers in their production facilities in Odemira, Algarve. It will include a tour through the vast and high tech facilities and will be concluded by a lunch where you can also taste AG products. You are welcome to join to exchange knowledge or just out of curiosity.
