A big thank you to our Marketing intern Pedro Faria

When I started my marketing internship at the Chamber, I didn't expect to be handed the keys to their digital strategies. Usually, internships are highly controlled, but here, the dynamic was completely different. I was given the trust and the freedom to execute real projects with minimal supervision.

Instead of just following basic instructions, I was responsible for implementing an automated marketing system using Mailchimp, creating email workflows, and developing targeted funnels to help drive the goal of growing membership. On the content creation side producing videos, LinkedIn posts, and setting up the YouTube playlist, I worked closely alongside my colleague Mariana. Having that collaborative space allowed us to exchange ideas freely, and I am incredibly grateful to Mariana for being such an amazing partner to work and share this journey with.

Having that kind of operational independence was the ultimate reality check on how the market actually works. In the real world, results matter. Being trusted to run these systems and co-manage the content strategy forced me to think like a professional, manage my time strictly, and understand the actual impact that marketing decisions have on business growth.

I want to truly thank Marjon for granting me this level of autonomy and believing in my capabilities from day one. That trust didn't just give me practical skills; it gave me the genuine confidence to know that I can take on a project, collaborate efficiently, and deliver real value to any organization.

Thank you Pedro, for your thoughtful words and for the contributions you made! We wish you success in your next steps.
