Executive students of Health Management visit Portugal - day 4
This week a group of 36 executive students of Health Management from our member TIAS Business School visit Lisbon. Aim of the week is to understand the Portuguese health care system and the difference with the Dutch system.
Today, the fourth day of the visit, we were very pleased to visit the state of the art Centre for the Unknown, Champalimaud Foundation while a second group visited Cercica: an education institute, incl. in-house living facilities for disabled children. We would like to thank both organisations for their hospitality and for the insights provided.
In the afternoon, a panel on "How to assure an affordable health system in the Future" was organised and we were very pleased to welcome the following panelists:
- Henrique Martins of ISCTE University (Digital Health)
- José Paulo Carvalho of Hopecare
- Tiago Loureiro of Health Insurer Médis (Ageas)
We would like to kindly thank all speakers for their input and the lively debate.
