Executive students of our member TIAS Business School visit Portugal - day 1

Today marked the start of the international study trip for executive students from our corporate member, TIAS School for Business and Society.

The morning started with an engaging kick-off by Marjon Van Dinther and Aline Gallasch-Hall de Beuvink, discussing history, economic context, culture and topics related to Portuguese society. These sessions form the basis for the upcoming exchanges with Portuguese organisations and their challenges.

In the afternoon, we hosted a dynamic Hackathon with 2 Portuguese start-ups focusing on Social Impact! During the session, the startups introduced their organizations and shared a challenge they are currently facing, while the TIAS managers offered insightful feedback and diverse perspectives. The exchange of ideas between Portuguese companies and Dutch executives was inspiring, sparking mutual learning and fresh insights for everyone involved.

A big thank you to Dat and Impacte for their enthusiastic participation. We can’t wait to see where these ideas and connections lead!

We’re especially grateful to our board member, Leendert Verschoor of PwC Portugal, along with his colleague Alexandra Delgado, for hosting the session at their offices.

We look forward to the rest of the week and appreciate the pleasant collaboration with the colleagues from TIAS, Academic Director Woody van Olffen and Project Manager Bridget Rona with whom we elaborated the week.
