EXPORTING TO THE NETHERLANDS
Our member Hans Mulder who has been the Managing Director of the Dutch-Brazilian Chamber of Commerce from 1990 to 2018, was contracted by the Brazilian Ministry of Foreign Affairs to compose and write a guide about how to export to the Netherlands. Since he did so in the (Brazilian) Portuguese language, the guide also provide for comfortable reading for Portuguese exporters. Although it includes some specific information about entering the European Union from a foreign country, it also contains a lot of information about the Dutch market that Portuguese entrepreneurs will for sure find interesting, if sometimes even amusing.
Photo: One of the illustrations used in the guide. This statue, located on the “Afsluitdijk” between the provinces of North-Holland and Friesland, represents a boy who found a leakage in the dike. Hans used this in his text explaining why the Dutch sometimes appear to focus on the negative rather than always polish the positive.
The guide can be freely downloaded from the following link:
Hans Mulder himself will be glad to further assist interested parties from his Portuguese base, where he may be contacted via e-mail firstname.lastname@example.org or phone (+351) 912.225.753
