Yesterday, 75 members of our Chamber joined for a great afternoon aboard the beautiful sailing ship Leão Holandês that belongs to our member Gesink Naútica.

 It turned out a very special occasion for owner Dirk Willem Gesink, who received a vote of praise by the Municipality of Lisbon. Dirk was the first to bring Nautic Tourism to the city of Lisbon more than 30 years ago. Hence, a vote of praise was unanimously given by the Municipality and handed over by Ambassador Nienke Trooster and our member Thomas Hall de Beuvink, who took the initiative to request the distinction.

We would like to thank the following members for supporting this wonderful event:
Gesink Turismo Náutico; Central Cervejas serving beer and Luso refreshments, delicious food by Ana Borba Catering (owner of restaurant Pastanaga in Santos) and Sergio Neves of Neves Insurance for the great music entertainment together with singer Helena Martins.
