During the most recent board meeting of the Dutch Portuguese Chamber of Commerce, it was decided to organise a working session with a number of members who have interest and expertise in the area of Artificial Intelligence.
Following this decision, on 5 March 2026, a small group of members gathered in Lisbon to exchange ideas and reflect together on how the Chamber could support its community in navigating the growing impact of AI across industries.
The meeting took place at the offices of Sérvulo & Associados. We would like to give a special thank you to our Board Member Rita Lufinha Borges for kindly offering the beautiful offices to host this meeting, and to all members present for their valuable participation and insights.
The session brought together members with experience and interest in this field to think with the Chamber about possible initiatives and ways to support companies that are exploring or implementing AI technologies.
During the discussion, participants shared perspectives on the increasing relevance of AI for businesses and the challenges many organisations face when evaluating and adopting new technologies. The exchange highlighted the value of bringing together professionals from different sectors to reflect on practical questions and opportunities.
At the Chamber, we believe that our members’ knowledge and experience are essential to shaping our initiatives. Engaging members directly in the Chamber’s activities allows us to build relevant programmes that respond to real needs within our network.
This conversation is part of an ongoing effort to explore ways to create a platform where companies offering services in this area can connect with potential clients and partners within the Chamber community.
