On Earth Day our member KLM renews its commitment to sustainability

Taking advantage of Earth Day, celebrated today, Thursday, April 22nd, Air France-KLM takes stock and renews its continued commitment to sustainable development, an objective of many years ago for the Group that occupies the podium of leading airlines on the Dow Jones Sustainability Index (DJSI) for 16 consecutive years, 13 of which in the first place, and which has also been a member of the United Nations Global Compact since 2003. At this level, some of the goals to be implemented by 2030, namely to reduce the CO2 emissions per passenger / km by -50% compared to 2005 levels, and to actively work with all stakeholders, including governments and legislators, to achieve the climate goal of achieving zero net emissions CO2 by 2050 on all flights within and departing from the European Union.
