Second day of visits by TIAS executive students to Lisbon
Today was the second day of the international study trip for the executive students of our member TIAS School for Business and Society.
We were very pleased to be able to count on Hospital da Luz, the largest private hospital in Portugal, and David Magboulé of LabtoMarket for collaborating in an interesting morning with a focus on Innovation.
During this inspiring visit, we got a chance to get to know this state-of-the-art private hospital, its learning centre as well as its focus on supporting start ups in the sector facilitating clinical trials and testing among other. We were also very impressed by the stories of cardiologist Bruno Castilho, who is the founder of start up Medgical, a tool that aims to reduce the administrative tasks of medical staff and provide better information to patients, and nurse Joana Afonso, CEO and Co-Founder of Careceiver, a platform to support informal caregivers.
We would like to thank everyone involved for the great hospitality and the time and energy you dedicated to our visit.
