Yesterday, we had the pleasure of welcoming students from the Financial program at NHL Stenden University of Applied Sciences on their visit to Lisbon.
The session began with an engaging and interactive quiz exploring the history, economy, and culture of Portugal, lead by Mariana Abreu Duarte, Business Consultant at the Chamber of Commerce.
We were also delighted to welcome our member Peter Van Doorn from Van Doorn & Partner, a company specialized in supporting and advising foreign entrepreneurs on establishing and managing their businesses in Portugal.
Peter shared insights from his personal journey and business ventures, highlighting the realities of operating in Portugal. His stories and practical advice offered students a valuable perspective on entrepreneurship, finance, and cross-border business management.
