Privacy Policy

The Dutch Portuguese Chamber of Commerce situated in Avenida Infante Santo, 43-5º, 1399-011 Lisboa and fiscal number n. º 501634835, is the entity responsible for the collection and processing of your data.
When requested, the clients can at any moment exercise the right to access, alter, update and delete their own data, as foreseen in the General Data Protection Regulation.

The personal data transmitted will be incorporated into a file of the responsibility of the Dutch Portuguese Chamber of Commerce, to contact and administrative management of your relationship with the Dutch Portuguese Chamber of Commerce, which mission is “Connect Portuguese and Dutch entrepreneurs and markets”. The protection, security and privacy of your personal data is up the most importance for the Dutch Portuguese Chamber of Commerce. Data are used for communication, processing of trade requests, registration and payments in events/services, missions and visits in or to either Portugal or the Netherlands, as well as for administrative purposes.

Which data is collected and how?
The data collected are those provided by members and clients via forms online or emails received and are only shared with the consent of members and customers. We always ask for the minimum data necessary to respond to the request made.

How do we keep your data safe?
All data collected is encrypted using a security certificate - SSL.
The data is stored in a central database, which is only and exclusively used and managed by staff of the Dutch Portuguese Chamber of Commerce and authorized agencies. Data are accessible electronically and security measures are in place to ensure that data cannot be accessed by unauthorized people. We are permanently monitoring the access to information technology systems to prevent, detect and prevent the misuse of your personal data.

How is your personal information shared?
The Dutch Portuguese Chamber of Commerce does not share, at any moment, personal data of its clients with third parties without previous consent. In the case of members, they can view the data of all other members via a reserved area named "Member's Login", which is only accessible to members who have a username and a password. In addition, referrals of member companies that offer relevant services can be send to potential clients.

How long are the data kept?
The Dutch Portuguese Chamber of Commerce only maintains personal data for the time deemed necessary to provide the intended service.

How can you view, change your consent or delete your data?
Anyone can exercise their rights of access, alteration and cancellation of personal information as held by the Dutch Portuguese Chamber of Commerce.
