Last 21st of March, the Chamber held its annual General Assembly at the Câmara de Comércio e Indústria Portuguesa, followed by a members' lunch at Casa do Alentejo. We would like the CCIP for kindly hosting the meeting in their historic building in the beautiful Salão Nobre. It was a fruitful gathering where members had the opportunity to meet new members, connect, and exchange ideas. A special thanks to lawyers Sara Ramos (and Rita Lufinha Borges) of Miranda Law firm for chairing the meeting. An overview was provided of the new members who joined in 2023, along with a video highlighting events and projects from that year. Ambassador Magriet Leemhuis and Chairman Nuno Pinto de Magalhães awarded special distinctions to Leendert Verschoor, who has been the Chamber's Treasurer for 25 years and Paul Smeets, who has been the Chairman of the Fiscal Committee for over 30 years. We would like to thank our auditors BDO and accounting firm Xisconta for the great work they did in elaborating the Annual Report.

After, we walked to Casa do Alentejo and had a great Members Lunch at such an iconic palace. We had the pleasure to count once more on our Liaison officer Thomas Hall de Beuvink to tell us a little bit more about the venue, its history and style. Thank you!
